I keep my files on flash drives, because it's so easy to shoot
yourself in the foot with Linux and I move from computer to computer.

I used KIll Disk on the entire drive, several passes and then
reinstalled from the CD's.

What does Compaq think of Linux? They no longer have CD's for Windows
XP for sale and suggest that you "try another operating system."
