The point that I was making was whether or not the site is doing anything with the identifying information. Konqueror users often figure out the first day that they have to change the Konqueror setting to tell the web site that it is Firefox or Internet Explorer.
One site keeps trying to offer me Windows toolbars, so they obviously aren't geared to using the information effectively. On the other hadn www.cbc.ca can tell that I am not in Canada. Whether or not the web site is effectively using the information, or can tell that Konqueror is masquerading as Internet Explorer is not trite, it can create funtional problems for the user or solve them in the case of Konqueror.
