I haven't found any configuration options for that, yet. Even the 'Show launcher' option that I did find doesn't seem to be working at the moment.
After about 10 hours of futzing, I'm definitely going back to Ubuntu classic for now. Hopefully we'll have a chance to share experiences and show off some of the progress the Unity folks have made at next months meeting.
