I just replaced the engine in my '91 with a FMII, a few weeks ago. I wanted to check with the collective wisdom to see if 500 miles was enough for proper break in?
At 500 miles I'm going to do an oil change and go with Castrol SyntecBlend oil and recheck all the bolts for tightness. It's a rebuilt 1.6 with all new internals, and I don't want to give it any boost before it's ready. It was rebuilt with OEM parts, no go fast goodies.
