Up until August of last year, the car was frequently street driven. I think the last time I changed the plugs & wires was a year before that. The car is now used only for DE's & driven (hard) once a month. Thus far, it's been to the track twice this year for 2-day track weekends. Typically, I run through a tank of gas (100 octane) a day. Car is making a good 220rwhp at 12psi of boost. I don't ever see any knock & the fuel mixture is a little on the rich side but not terribly so (A/F = 12-14 depending on where in the MAP).
I haven't noticed any misfires or stumbling but don't want to wait until that happens to change the spark plugs &/or ignition wires. What's the conventional wisdom on when to change them for my application (only DE's)?
