I would go before the intake sensor in the ss tube. FWIW, I saw a peak
IAT of 32C at Thunderhill at 16.5psi on the Westie with WI. A couple
weeks earlier with no ic and iat before the water nozzle I was seeing
160C! With no knock...

Subject: Question regarding installation of Water Injection kit

Where is a good place to install the WI nozzles? Should I weld on some
bungs to the top of the IC? Since I have silicone intake hoses the only
other option is to tap the stainless steel tube where the AIT is located
or weld in some bungs into the intake manifold, but that is AFTER the
intake temps are read.

Thanks,
Mike
