Here are some ideas.

Change your spark plugs & wires if they have a lot of miles on them.
Get a free-flow air filter.

If you run lower tire pressure, increase it by 1 or 2 PSI.
If possible, replace your present tires with tires that offer less rolling
resistance (they won't brake or handle as well, sorry...) If you have cheap,
hard tires already, are they the smallest width offered for your vehicle?

If you don't use synthetic oil in viscosity around 5W 30, then change to it.
Higher viscoisty, non-synth oil requires more energy to pump and to keep
the engine spinning. If it's HOT there in summer, use 10W 30.

Put synthetic gear lube in the differential(s).

Look into replacing the rear/diff gears with numerically lower diff gears,
as it will reduce engine RPM at higher speed (but will slow your acceleration).

Take the junk out of your trunk.

Go to the gym (if you don't) and lose a few pounds.

Add a small turbo.
