I don't think I'm gonna switch tires. I want the car to handle well in case I want to have a little fun in the twisties.
Since I no longer have a functional WBO2 sensor (sensor needs to be replaced), would it be a good idea to lower the o2 targets just a touch to put it on the slightly leaner side? If so, what would those targets be? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thu 5/22/2008 11:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Hypermiling with a Link ECU I drive a GTO daily so trying to squeeze every MPG out of my daily stop-and-go commute is top of mind.? You are doing the right things with the drivintg style.? As far as the ECU just make sure you are hitting the O2 targets - monitor the key pad or get an O2 gauge to keep the ratio low.? The combo of lowest revs possible with the?lightest vacuum and a lean O2 is about the best you can do.? Swithing to rock hard and skinny tires can also boost milage (but as someone pointed out a few days ago can really hurt handling and braking). Randy
