Or, if you're really concerned about it, don't move the throttle as
fast. 
 
The biggest changes you can make are all driver-related. Not the goofy
stuff like drafting semis, but the common sense stuff such as
maintaining momentum and looking ahead in traffic. Think of fuel as
"delta-v" and you get the idea. Anyone who's ever driven a low-power car
already understands all this.
 
The best thing about high gas prices is that I can justify high
cornering speeds as an efficiency measure!

        How low can you take the Accel fuel before it becomes a problem?
Can't you get a lean knock if you open the throttle too quickly and
there's not enough accel fuel?
