Just saw it this morning.  Don't seem to be any wires near it, but I'm 
wondering if the wiring from the aftermarket stereo components are messing with 
the ECU.

Also called about the warranty and the only electric part it covers is the 
alternator.  It was everything I could do to not yell at the guy on the 
phone and tell him it was completely useless for any actual problems...

Since I'm effectively now no worse off, I guess I can look at it myself since 
I'll be out my own expense anyway (ie no warranty coverage).
