ya know... the wire on the crank sensor DOES run near some scary looking
belts and pulleys. Chances of nicking that wire are pretty darn good. I'd
take some time to trace that wire at least back to the firewall and assure
myself of there being no nicks in the insulation. Or did you already do
this?
