Ah. I thought I remembered you posting that you bought a roller.
*somebody* had posted a bunch of links to some nice ones.

Outsourced that to a local fab shop for a few bucks each bead. They are
an custom exhaust/fabrication shop. I've seen some DIY approaches,
though (google). I welded "nodes" on the turbo Miata radiator pipes but
was not too thrilled with that.

If I build another V-mount setup, I may end up copying that bead roller
just because it is an hour's worth of driving to that shop (only one in
the area I know of that has the small bead form tool) and inevitably
takes at least two trips to get all of them done for a project
(intercooler and radiator). There's nothing like being able to "just do
it" whenever you want.

My TIG welder has arguably been the best thing I've bought for the
garage. Two turbo kits and numerous other projects and it has paid for
itself. Heck, I built a replacement part for my futon frame out of $5
in scrap since the piece I repaired fatigued itself to death (cheap
Chinese steel).
