I have rethought my previous statement and found it lacking. I now understand where California was going with the no Black car law. I mean who needs AC to cool down an open car! Now we can keep black colors, but must lose the hardtop! TC Nice try, but top down is AWFUL in 100+ degree weather, particularly in slow moving highway commuter traffic. I'll go for the A/C. I have been COOKED and BAKED too many times... Top Down, for me, is best on English days - those temperate overcast days when I can drive without getting fried. ..And lest we forget, in Summer, in the Rain, it can get mighty hot and muggy.
