That means that despite Silicon Valley being extremely well vented by strong winds and the San Francisco Bay, and the lack of manufacturing industry and its "exhaust", mainly focused in technology development, the basic life and transportation of its inhabitants contribute to acid rain. Have you been to an industrial site in China? It is amazing what science tells us when we observe and notice little tell tales aroud us. To say that science is not supporting global warming effect by humans, and that human's could not curbe the inevitable side-effects by their complex existence such as industrialization, is not a true statement. If you consider yourself, and compare your eneegy usage, waste you produce directly and indirectly, and compare that to any free roaming animal, you will recognize that the effect of our intelligent development has a sevre side effect unlike the simple existence of all other life-form on earth.
