Gore only "encouraged" expansion of the already under development internet. Watch the series How the earth was made on the history channel. Watch the Discovery Channel, the various PBS channels, and the evening news while you're at it. Gore isn't in it, and the ice age is indeed coming, but it will be a little logger than was predicted in the late 60's. Ray Romano is in it, animated as a wooly mammoth. Global warming is not going to happen. Global warming is her now. It is the continuously increasing global warming that is the problem. Understand, we're not talking about an increase of a hundred degrees; it takes only 2 or 3 degrees difference in average temperatures to have a severe and drastic affect on our environment, on crops, on oceans, on ice, on the natural world. Add an addition 2 or 3 degrees to that over a ten year period and you're talking about massive flooding, whole sections of coastline for miles inland being covered with the rising seas. Global warming is insidious. If Gore said it is so isn't enough to know it ain't so, their is no hope. I have no idea what that sentence means...
