If you guys wonder how well mass psychology and PR works, a man named Edward Bernays, the "father of PR", came up with a PR campaign for the bacon industry, and got the public hooked on Bacon and Eggs for breakfast - he also came up with the idea for the image that female smokers are "sophisticated", to sell more cigarettes. He teamed up with Hollywood directors to come up with sophisticated female smoker characters. Precisely why one must be AWARE of what one sees or hears in the media. If you wonder why young people are cursing and acting like fried-brain idiots, just look at MTV. Young people, especially, are impressionable, but older folks often fail to see how they're being manipulated, as well.
