I don't have any complaints about my Motec system. Typically people who
drive the car report better than OEM drivability.
I have to imagine that almost anything that Bill sells today would be on
par or better than OEM.

about the different options, the more it seems so. Does running a
parallel setup make much difference? Does letting the OEM ECU control
idle and A/C and whatnot help?

I really really want oem like starting, idling, cruising etc, so
I'm thinking of tossing the megasquirt and going back to an afpr
setup.
Megasquirt is good, very good even, but no matter how much I
fiddle with it, it will never behave as good as an oem, espcially
comparing one day to the other (temps).
It's all very small things like the occasional misfire or the
starting that takes tad longer one day to the other etc.
So, silly as it may sound, I might just put back the stock ecu
and an afpr / some ignition control.
Anyone running one of the later begi setups? The older (late
90's) style were a bit 'crude' to be honest and often had a rough
transition into boost and that's something i don't want either...
I'm running a euro '00 (thus with oem afpr and fuel return line
like the NA's!) and a msm turbo. There's also a hi-power fuel pump
in the car.
Ideas anyone?
