The aftermarket ECUs tend to not control the idle as well. That's why people do things like run the MS in parallel and use it to control timing and fueling and let the OEM unit control idle etc. That's why people use things like the XEDE and other PiggyBack units to control fuelling and timing and leave the OEM computer running the idle etc.
