1975 – Bay City Rollers fans attempt to swim across a lake to reach

Park. 39 people are taken to the hospital, four being admitted.
1981 – Yes' bassist Chris Squire and drummer Alan White begin
rehearsals with the remaining members of Led Zeppelin for a band to be
called XYZ (ex-Yes and Zeppelin). The band never materializes.
1984 – Michael Jackson undergoes scalp surgery to repair damage caused
by fire during the filming of a Pepsi commercial on January 27.
1985 – Liberace breaks his own record by earning $2 million for his
