2008 – Tommy Steele reveals to the Daily Mail that in 1958 Elvis
Presley stopped in London for a day while on leave from the Army in
Germany, and Steele showed him the landmarks around the city,
debunking the long-held belief that Presley had only been in the UK
once, to re-fuel a plane he was on in Scotland after being discharged
from the Army in 1960.
2010 – The L.A. coroner's office officially rules that Marie Osmond's
son, Michael Blosil, committed suicide in February.
