OK, how about this. Create a group for each individual editor. Create a topic for each editor, which is owned by each editor's group. Create a user for each editor, and make that the sole member of that editor's group. Then add the Chief Editor to every editor's group. Hey presto! Of course, you'll need to write some PHP to pick the articles you need from each topic. cheers Paul Gillingwater http://www.lanifex.com KathyW wrote: > Hi all! > > There may be a way to do this already but I'm just not sure ... > > We have a site/domain (xyz.com) that has one editor and a number of subeditors. > Ideally what we would like is that the editor could modify any file on the site > (OK, easy so far), but the subeditors could only modify their own articles. > > Using Sitegroups I can control access by domain, which is good, but is there > any easy way to control access by article? > > Suggestions appreciated. > > KathyW. > > RedHat Linux 6.1 (kernel 2.2.14)/ SunJDK1.2.2(Linux) / PolarBar Java Mailer 16 > > -- > This is The Midgard Project's mailing list.
