Granted some atheist do, but I know many who don't, many of our members here for example. I'm afraid that you have gotten off on the wrong foot by generalising all atheists to fit one particular pattern.
As to the logics of the situation, well it is true that our brains can and do incorrectly interpret our sense data. Ask youself this though, wether we where created or evolved to what we presently are, what are the benifits in senseing the world around us as it is not? We do live in a relative world, the mere fact that you are here giving your own subjective account of the way things are and the fact that some here have engaged you in conversation to register thier disagreement highlights this. Or how else can any opinion differ? Addiction to sense impressions. So you do not enjoy music, or litrature? You never watch TV, films nor attend the theathre? Do you get any satisfaction from simply watching the beuties of nature, are you enjoying being part of this group and engageing in debate? All of this stems from our sense, does it not?
