You think. Decide what you want to write about then you do it. Then you rewrite it. Then you rewrite it again. Then you give it to a friend to proof read and then you rewrite it again. Then you post it here so we can ridicule it and tell you why it sucks or maybe tell you its the best short story ever written. I'm guessing two months as long as you don't have anything else to do for the rest of the summer. Good luck.
