Neil, you suddenly spring up and, for sure, fill my day all flowing
and happy. Lots of love !

The peach vodka is past me. One fine day, I went home and declared to
me wife and sons that drinks are no longer a part of my life's
routine. It wasn't a vow. But, truly, it 's dropped off as a habitual
' looking forward to ' I was used to.

And this, when just the previous day I had purchased two big - sized
bottles of ' Celebration ' rum for my week's quota ! The two remained
on the shelf for several months, untouched. Untill, someone I greatly
love dropped in with family to spend a day with us ... when the two
of us finished off one of the bottles as part of a most unremebered
but happy evening. The other ( bottle ) remains to this day, on the
shelf.

This year, we 've had a poor harvest of all those truly delicious
varieties of mangoes this land is famous for. It 's yet one of those
routines, albeit annual, when I 'd gorge ( the gourmand way ) on a few
of these kinds - the hybrid langdas ( chausa, malda, bombaiya ) and
juicy unhybrids, and dashehries on occassions. The season fills me
with the riot of flavours ... and the proof, that God exists !

You ' colonials ' must not miss it ... the mangoes, while it lasts.
Take care, the medicines for diabetes must not be forgotten, too.
