I agree with Vam.  He apologised to me some eons ago, though had
squeezed my balls blue long before reaching contrition and no doubt
long after I had fainted and he had discovered I am not a white
colonist.  My old friend can rest assured I will not be patronising
enough to forgive him and am humble enough not to want to need to.
Mistakes are just mistakes, as cigars are just sometimes cigars.  In
Vam's case, a duel at dawn is all I demand, our seconds checking the
feather dusters in intense inspection before we satisfy our honour.
Back to back we'll face each other and with our swords shoot each
other.  I nominate Chris as my second and to sell the tickets for this
momentous event - one surely more worthy than Michael Jackson's
funeral to be burned in the public heart.  A last peach vodka before
one of us must surely die, then each wishing the other good fortune,
we shall stride to the field of valour, loosing sharpened duelling
mangoes in the vague direction of fate.
