I too am actually a rare animal in the pub and don't drink at home Vam. In truth I prefer Vimto these days - the no added sugar version over ice. I am beginning to want something of life again and to see more in a flower than the bottom of a bottle. I am able to do some physical work again and my body hurts as surely after planting a few vegetables as it once did the morning after more brutal clashes in the Rugby League. Some numbing Protestant Whiskey (Bushmills' Black Bush) is tempting, but I can no longer take the stuff as refreshment or to steady my aim. Our hearts are one - maybe they will last a little longer on mere memories of the raised glass!
