Cracker Barrel is fantastic when you've thrown all dietary concerns out the
window. I prefer the Hungry Boy breakfast:

8oz Ribeye Steak
3 eggs over easy
cheddar hash browns casserole
biscuits and sawmill gravy
fried cinnamon apples
grits with salt, pepper and butter

You have to save one of the biscuits for the apple butter. Fantastic. For
you Brits not familiar with southern Yank cuisine, when I say biscuit, think
a plain buttered scone. Sawmill gravy is a white gravy based on pork fat and
flour. Cracker Barrel is a shining example of Southern American cuisine's
dedication to fat, protein and carbohydrates, without all those pesky fresh
greens getting in the way. It's farmer fare, and will only be healthy if you
are intending to do 12 hours of hard manual labor to work it off. Otherwise,
it's ridiculously decadent, and utterly fantastic.
