By what method do you attribute good fortune to a deity and why would you be singled out of all those with misfortune? Isn't it more likely that good fortune is simply be a matter of cause and effect? You wouldn't have the fortune were it not for others before you setting wheels in motion.
Many gods were wrathful and destructive in non-christian religions? Have you read the bible lately? They say that Jesus is supposed to be coming back soon and it seems he's really pissed off and many heads are going to roll, much more than those who drowned in the flood, you remember the flood of course. You can research the other wrathful and destructive events.
