I also feel that "God" is not a participant in daily life on the
planet. I have heard a boxer say after a victory "I want to thank God
for this win". If the guy considered that God helped him win, then he
should also consider that God made the other guy lose. Not very
realistic. Good people die young, while perverted abusers live to a
ripe old age. This is surely not beneficial to life on earth and
definately not due to the actions of a compassionate God.
