So the people who failed to "catch" should be hung? (even though
there is no death penalty, perhaps just your phrase?) Yet terrorists
should not?
It seems you are placing a higher blame on the authorities who try ,
yet fail, to catch than the people committing the horrible crime. I
don't understand that. The people who commit terrorist acts have a
much higher moral blame.

Shouldn't your argument include that no attempts are caught? Yet,
that does not seem to jive with some reports.
I don't know "how much is around" but I certainly don't blame
authorities for not catching everything, the "catching " method to
cover all possibilities is not cost effective. That chess game is
hard to win every time.

So I take it that the lies are more important to you ? Enough to
ignore any truth? I admit that there is fear mongering, and hype
about terrorism , but that does not mean it does not exist, it clearly
does, and nothing should be done about it? It is about the level. I
don't know what the correct level is, but nothing is not a correct
level, and complete ineffective overkill in the wrong areas is not
efficient or effective either. Do you blame authorities for
terrorists? You might have a case there, I don't think there is any
case for terrorist acts against civilians myself, but you can make
yours.
What would you suggest as the effective remedy?
