Bush tells an ugly story about democracy. It is a "winner take all" system, which is not good. How he won, I will never understand. But "the other guy" might have been just as bad. But that is hard to imagine. But anyway, every system has faults. I am not sure democracy is the best, but it is better than most. I like the checks and balances in our system, but even those break down on occasion. I like the Parlimentary system too, although the house of commons is the strangest room I have ever heard. Isn't that the one where they yell out something constanly interrupting? And pound? Very strange.
There must be a better way, but I don't know what it is.
