It's time I locked myself away to finish a couple of books. Politics actually makes me feel like leerev - it's not possible to describe any of it without expletives and I believe we should leave them in when addressing politicians personally. On a technical point here, politicians often say we all say we hate them all until it comes to what we think about our own reps/MPs etc. We hold them, apparently, in high esteem. Statistical error is involved here - they aren't asking the right questions and have not polled those who have tried to get help from local constituency people, that is the 'victims'. Nor have they taken into account what we have to say about individual people we don't know in general, nor have they looked at what information is available for people to judge (poodle press 'success stories' and other positive 'baby kissing'). My MP is crap and not worthy of public office, our councillors are pathetic and there is no means of complaint other than to wait until the vote - even then there is no way of making public what they have done. Today I was asked to nominate a 'Wonder Worker' amongst our cops and Town Hall workers. I could nominate over 100 'jobsworth tossers', but they won't let me. This is a very Soviet tactic. I shall, of course, wear facil's 'best verbiage in contest' prize with great pride. Mobs are bad even when composed of kangaroos Orn, but we need some kind of protest.
