So are the Neo-Con Christian Right Wingers. You remember them...they're running the show (from behind the scenes) in the U.S. and have been since the J. Edgar Hoover days. That's why we invaded Iraq under false pretense and Afghanistan and have a 'War on Terror', which is Neo-Con code for 'The Last Crusade'. It takes 2 to tango and, as the Bush's have strong ties to oil (thus the Al-Sauds) and the Al-Sauds are only a little more powerful than the Bin Ladens, the Bushs have fairly strong ties to BOTH those families. And, of course, if the Bin Ladens can, somehow, besmirch the name of the Al-Sauds, then Arabia will change hands and become Ladeni Arabia, which, I believe, is the ultimate plan of Usama. But...what do I know?? I'm FAR more worried about the Neo-Cons (who, also, like the Muslim fundamentalists, are a minority) than Al-Qaeda. From that last bombing of CIA agents BY Al-Qaeda (which proves that AQ had successfully infiltrated the CIA) their intelligence gathering and operations FAR exceed that of the CIA. And who is it who dumbed-down the CIA to make them the useless bunch of clowns they are now? Ah yes, GHW Bush!! And who is it who STILL demands daily reports FROM the CIA...Ah yes, GHW Bush. See any patterns here?? > On Jan 14, 3:51 pm, Twirlip <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > I hoped the smiley would be enough to make it clear that I was only > > kidding you, with a bit of cod-Zen, or something. > > > As you observe, I'm new here: very new, because although I stumbled > > across the group about a month ago, and subscribed to the daily digest > > e-mail, I got distracted by my daughter's birthday, Christmas, and New > > Year, while also somehow forming the mistaken impression that the > > group had become inactive, or was entirely preoccupied with being > > annoyed by Muslims!
