You misunderstood my response to gabby fiddler, allow me to clarify. If you look at her original statement, she used the word ignorance. I use the words detachment and indifference. All different words, I was not telling gabby her word was wrong. I was making a statement to her that what may appear to be ignorance or indifference in me, may be my detachment. I offer the notion of detachment in the Vedic tradition, that allows love without interference of ego. If you do not agree with that defination, and prefer Websters, that is your choice. Quibbling over words is rarely productive, in my opinion. > > > > > > > Detachment is also used in love relationships and is very much a > > > > > > part > > > > > > of al-anon tactics when dealing with a drunk or druggie. > > > > > > > On Jan 16, 4:35 pm, fiddler <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > > > > That is not detachment. > > > > > > > > de·tach·ment (d-tchmnt) > > > > > > > n. > > > > > > > 1.
