Isn't the official penalty for spilling the beans about irrationality
rather to be thrown overboard and drowned (or perhaps swallowed by a

Someone (was it here?) mentioned a conspiracy theory that Blair is a
CIA stooge.  I'd never heard that one, and (my supposed paranoia
notwithstanding) I'm not generally a consumer of such theories, but
that one has a wonderful instant believability. (Unlike the one that
Chomsky is a CIA stooge, which is simply beautiful in its looniness!)
