Yes, I agree, Vam, great fundamental stuff articulated nicely. When
the Tibetan Book of the Dead is viewed as a manual for ego
transcendence then yes, Wallace's model would provide a simple method
for entering the realm. And for me, there is much to be said for
simplicity here. Yet we each make this journey individually and
differently, and if we are attuned to the road signs naturally given
us, our own way is illuminated. Looking away and getting enmeshed in
the form can slow or create barriers.

Calling the form illusion, for me, takes away the object validity and
is like saying the many is illusion and only the One is real. This
might be designed to encourage focus onward, but may obscure the point
that the many in the form that we view it is the manifestation of the
One expressing within us. To arrive at the point of "all appearances
exist only relative to the mind that experiences them, and all mental
states arise relative to experienced phenomena. We are living in a
participatory universe, with no absolute subjects or
objects." (Wallace) - we must realize that our participation in the
universe is the creation of those forms, and this realization takes us
beyond the mental states and into those of pure awareness in sleep,
dream and waking.
