Figured you would be first to bite the hook on this one but I'd have to agree with you Fidd, plus when Cell would first say " Let's use this thread to talk about those "negative" results of religion and religious belief. " and then say "......... it might be helpful to look at how a more "rational" approach could be developed......" I wonder where the rationale is and what happened to the "positive deeds and effects". Though I don't ascribe to any religion, the need to view all aspects of it is essential to understanding it. Let's at least be knowledgeable about our disbelief.
