While I can agree that in animals it does to varying degrees, with of course humans being at the top of the heap with the most sentient energy, I doubt whether the vast majority of energy (i.e., the physical forces in the universe of which we are cognizant) has anything like sentience and consciousness. Perhaps it is only animal species which can imbue energy with such things.
