Hi Alan! I would like to say that with your examples; is a thing good because God commands it? Or does God command it because is good? Or is there a middle way? I believe that you have pointed out the real problem in nowadays religions, which is that sometimes religions are not clear cut. So, one is left with a feeling of uncertainty about what to do. So, I would like to ask these questions; Is there a god in the existing religions that fulfils that good side only? Or should humanity review what is said in existing religious books and adjust them to fit that purpose? My greetings Manfraco
