Sorry Rigsy I really don't know I have a fascination with Damascus steel and The hand made swords are both beautiful as well as being deadly sharp beautiful artistic work. But one must handle the safely.. if you ever drop one let it fall and let it hit the ground and come to a rest. (shed the tears) if you try and catch it you can easily lose a finger or two and that is not a joke.
