How hard is it to twist a story to fit ones picture. Like in the story of his baptism if you change where God is said to have spoken and change the word 'Son' to 'Beloved' and then read it ,, and the whole meaning changes.. that is just one simple word. If you change where ever read 'Son of God' to 'Beloved of God' you get an entirely different read and view point. > , if you look close at his words and actions , he > belived in peace , but did he belive in achieveing peace peacefully? > I hope so.. he set his own death up ( judis was given a bad rep by hist ) as a > means of makeing a statment , his life that statment as well , he > said , i come not to bring peace but war , he was a rebel , his > statment was to not fear death for you will live again in the next > world , and he led by example , he said that he was taught by his > father before him , in the old testament when the jews deffeted an > enimy they killed evry man woman child and animal then burned the > city , it seems he belives in bloody revolution , the jews an example > of a people oppressed time and again throughout history but they > continue , Well there I am having a hard time swallowing it as the will of God.. personally I think the Jews are blood thirsty to this day. The romans crucified a lot of Jewish preachers to the cross to the point it was a habit.. I am going to make a giant leap here.. yes there was a eclipse of the Sun that occurred right over Jerusalem during the time Jesus was around.. and it was attached to his death.. whether it is true or not is a totally different question. I have to remember that they were great story tellers during that time. example to the rest of us , a lot of revelution theses > days, hard times for alot of people but its a beautiful thing ... > sort of like taoism > > thought without action is a thoughtless action > > i have read carlos castanata ... . . . he was brilliant .... . . . > but at times..... . . .? > Yes it is strange,, my personal experience tells me not to discount what he has to say.. especially as you get to the later books To me the weirdest one is the 1st one > > any hoo... the ideas , actions , self sacrifice , and world wide > impact of jesus makes him a god no matter what your definition might > be!
