Is sleep a Brahman experience or just ignorance? Advaita base notions of
pure consciousness on this. The state of deep sleep is said to be the
gateway to cognition. In deep sleep one is desireless. Arvind Sharma was
my source. The compelling logics of scholasticism tend to worry me from an
empiricist standpoint, though in empirical adequacy we question is about
such questions on what we are structuring as real. This leaves all
standpoints intact to start with before we get into approximations in maths
and what we guess the structure of what we will investigate is. Currently,
science would have us go green in radical peace with new efforts (not Elon
Musk) to create space travel future generations could enjoy and survive.
Looks pretty religious to me. We also guess end-points (non-commutative
algebra and geometry) to see if different maths (ways of seeing the world)
make better fits with the world we are creating.
