It's about the impact on the wider world -- and my potential
involvement, even if that's just my interaction the lists.
("you're too uptight" "you seem dumb and uncool" -- If you don't
understand where I'm coming from, I don't give a shit; understandable?)

I appreciate the factual label. Not everyone is impacted the same,
of course, but as we grow up, we become responsible for our own
minds, that's part of being an adult. Tom said:

Yeah, I think "perceptions" are worth considering here, not so much
"sensitivities.":

Someone in a position to acquire and arrange software for their own
use needs to be able to handle themselves in the face of whatever
the world is likely throw at them. (I want to think David Riggle's
fantasy isn't normal, OpenBSD users seem to think otherwise. Ok.)

Setting expectations is what's important here. For more dependent users
(I'm thinking kids) those people setting things up should have some
idea what they're dealing with. Does that make sense?
