I supplied a very generic piece of advice. In general, the project will respond to reasonable change requests. The local definition of "reasonable" tends to include visible effort in making something that has at least a chance of working in practice. The games set is mainly historical and is kept around basically because it is not a huge consumer of space. It is quite possible that most users simply install and ignore, and if I remember correctly, /usr/games is not even in the default PATH. That said, those of us who have been around a while would generally have one or more favorites from there that we would miss if they were suddenly gone. -- Peter N. M.
