I've no idea Ron. I am neither an Ubuntu developer nor a Mixxx developer. There's a bug report in for it, and the Mixxx devs are involved in the thread, so I'm sure it will get looks at as and when they're able to. Are you not finding it's ok using OSS? That way you can play your tunes and have a nice cup of tea.
