Sure, will try and do this over the next couple of days. It did stop 
happening for a while which confused me, but I think now it only happens 
using ALSA at low latency (when it started behaving again, the latency 
was set back up to 64ms).

I have no problems using OSS, and seem to have 6ms latency with no 
clicks/pops.

Not worked out how to do it with JACK yet but will have a go.

Not sure that using pasuspender mixxx made any difference, but will 
confirm that too.
