We are behind schedule and so take your time on the translations. I should
note that string freeze refers to strings within the Mixxx codebase -- not
the translations on Launchpad. We will sync the latest translations from LP
about a week before the final release.
Here's my rough, revised 1.11 release schedule:
Alpha 1: released on Mixxx Forums today or tomorrow
Code Freeze: April 29th
Beta 1: May 1st
String Freeze: May 10th
Skin Freeze: May 26th
Controller Script Freeze: May 26th
Translation Import from LP: May 26th
1.11 Release: June 1st
We've made huge progress since I originally started this thread. Here's an
update on 1.11 features.
Merged:
* Controller system rewrite with HID script support : merged today!
* Waveform 2.0 -- merged to trunk. Some more updates and fixes are still in
the waveforme-2.0 branch and should sync up to trunk soon.
* Beat Tracking with Queen Mary via VAMP plugins -- merged to trunk.
Beatgrids are so solid now!
* Session History : in trunk for a while now
* Revamped AutoDJ : in trunk for a while now
* Advanced Search Operators : in trunk
"Stretch" features:
* Library preview player -- Max Linke (one of our esteemed GSoC students)
is almost done with this.
* Controller-script improvements -- not merged yet but might be ready by
the code freeze.
Stalled features:
* 4 decks -- there are performance issues with 4 waveforms and 4 spinnies
all going at once. I don't think there's been any new progress on 4-deck
skins either.
* Master sync -- punted to a future release
* Tooltip translations -- no progress sofar.
* Manual translations -- no progress sofar.
* External passthrough -- punted to a future release.
