Sort of -- the track's loop has always been stored in the database since
looping was added. So when you load a track the loop that was last set on
that track should load as the loop-in/out points (so you can activate by
hitting reloop). That's a little different from what you're talking about,
I think.
You used to be able to play into a loop by activating it while the play
head was positioned before the loop in point. Now when you reloop while the
play head is not within the loop you immediately seek to the start of the
loop.
