Forgot to mention: Chrysler OFFICIALLY stated that the GLH stood for "Goes Like Hell"- so it is anything but nonsensical. Also the GLHS is "Goes Like Hell, Shelby" as in Carol himself. It has been only recently that Chrysler has gotten away from the nomenclature not having a significant meaning. for example; the 300M a deep distant (by name only) relative to the famed 300 letter series cars that started in the '50s. The last one was of course the 300L (and we can all figure out what came before) which explains the letter, but the number was to denote 300 hp. the new one only has about 254. I know many a MOPAR freak VERY (myself included) pissed that the car didn't live up to it's namesake.
