The best advice is to thouroughly document the incident. If
you haven't done so already, write down all the details you can
remember, and get a couple written estimates/or receipt of the
damage. Some pictures of the damage and scene would also be a good
idea. It may be over-kill, but it helps to have all the bases covered.
